Dear Riomar Yacht Club Members,
It is my pleasure to welcome a new vessel to the Fleet. The Atlantic is now available in two of our most trusted styles, the Waterman and the Deck Driver.
The Atlantic is cut from a weathered blue-grey leather, the color of open water under an overcast sky. It is finished with a petrol blue lining and a matching sole, and it wears as easily with khakis as it does with navy.
An invitation aboard
We hadn't planned to shoot on a yacht. The Crew and I were walking the docks in search of a good location when we fell into conversation with the owners of a rather handsome boat, who were kind enough to invite us aboard. The Atlantic looked very much at home on her teak, and we came away with a fine set of photographs and made some new friends along the way.
A quieter flag
Every Riomar ordinarily flies our Burgee in teal, yellow and navy. The Atlantic departs from that custom in one detail. Its Burgee is embroidered tone on tone, a ghost Burgee that shows itself only when the light catches it.
Built as the Fleet is built
Like every pair in the Club, the Atlantic is made by our Portuguese Cobblers from 100% waterproof Portuguese leather, with a non skid, non marking sole and an odor-proof, antimicrobial leather insole. Each pair comes dressed with the Atlantic Color Bar Bearing, tied by our Bearing Masters in Vero Beach. Should you wish to fly other colors, every bearing in our collection fits the Atlantic just as it fits the rest of the Fleet.
Two ways aboard
- The Atlantic Waterman ($238), on our low profile hybrid sole, made for the boat and everywhere you go after it.
- The Atlantic Deck Driver ($225), on a true driving sole with gripping nubs from heel to toe, formfitting and flexible.
The Atlantic joins the Fleet to stay.
Fair winds,
The Commodore
