I love going offshore and swimming in the summers when the ocean is crystal clear. I also love to surf when the waves are small enough for me.
WHAT ARE YOUR CONCERNS ABOUT OUR WATERS?
My biggest concern is the blue/green algae occurring in Stuart and the gulf. It seems to only be getting worse each year and it makes me so sad seeing all the animals (and people) its harming.
HOW DO YOU LIVE RIOMAR?
I think “to live Riomar” is to respect the oceans and rivers and never take them for granted. I do that by going on the boat every chance I get and hardly ever spending a day away from the beach; also picking up trash in or by the water when I see it.
