The Everglade Deck Driver was inspired by our Founder's love for the vast wilderness of the Florida Everglades and the region's unique maritime heritage, where traditional airboats and fishing vessels have navigated the intricate waterways and mangrove channels of America's most distinctive wetland ecosystem for generations. Much like the muted sage tones of the sawgrass prairies and the olive-green waters that flow slowly through the "River of Grass," the Everglade Deck Driver's leather embodies the sophisticated, natural hues of Florida's untamed wilderness where freshwater meets saltwater in perfect harmony. Form-fitting and flexible, the Everglade Deck Driver is designed from the sole up for superior all-around performance with our signature driving sole featuring strategic nub placement for enhanced pedal feel and deck traction. Featuring our expert craftsmanship, exquisite genuine waterproof leather, precision artisan hand stitching, and a subtle ghost logo; The Everglade Deck Driver is a perfect pairing to a wide variety of color tones and is as refined and elegant as this remarkable natural wonder.

Algue Nubuck: Waterproof Spanish Leather

Sole: Non-Slip / Non-marking - Algue BEI

Lining: Odor-proof, Antimicrobial - Forest Fibertech

Bearing: Teak

Every Riomar takes the same bearings. Each one shackles across the vamp and comes off in seconds with no tools, so a single pair of shoes carries more than 130 different looks. If you would rather fly your own colors, our Bearing Masters will tie those too. Shop all bearings.

Riomar shoes are US men's sizing, built in one width, standard medium. Full measurements are on our size chart.

The uppers are cut and stitched by hand in Portugal, on lasts we have been refining since the first Waterman. The bearing channel is set during construction rather than added afterwards, which is why the swap stays clean for the life of the shoe.

Change your bearings, not your sole

Our bearings are hand tied by fishermen in Florida. Each one shackles across the vamp and comes off in seconds with no tools, so a single pair of shoes carries more than 130 different looks. If you would rather fly your own colors, our Bearing Masters will tie those too.
